PICTURES FOR PALESTINE: A fundraiser for Medical Aid for Palestinians

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of people, and displaced many millions of people, plunging the surviving Gaza populace into urgent need of medical aid. In light of these developments, the global creative community has put together an initiative in order to raise funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians.

Launched on the 15th of November 2023 by the same group responsible for ‘Photographs for the Trussell Trust’, who previously fundraised £621,785 for people affected by the economic and social crisis as a consequence of the Covid-19 health emergency, and ending on the 6th of December, the Pictures for Palestine fundraiser is a photographic print sale, initiated by an international group of 150 artists looking to bring aid to Palestinian refugees in light of the urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The sale includes the work of artists and image makers in global network like Cindy Sherman, Alec Soth, Jim Goldberg, Maen Hammad, Hannah Black, Sunil Gupta, Alessandra Sanguinetti, Joel Meyerowitz, Ajamu X, Adham Faramawy, Hanane El Ouardani, Ari Marcopoulos, Jeremy Deller, Yorgos Lanthimos and a host of others. Each piece in the collection of works.

Solène Gün – Kardeşlik, 2019.

Each work will be available for £100 a piece, and will be open edition and printed at a 8 x 11" size. All proceeds will be directed to MAP, Medical Aid for Palestinians. MAP provides vital medical care and medical resources for the Palestinians who urgently require them.
